A Young Boy not more than eight years old looks out the broken glass of what’s left of his bedroom window to a land destroyed by hatred and greed. A child that knows nothing else but the fear of war. A land that fought through centuries of attacks and plunder. Children play ball in a lot that once was a school bombed by Russian aggression.

Neighboring countries of Ukraine and Russia are increasing their military resources. Stray missiles are hitting bordering towns and villages, and the leaders feel their safety and integrity are at risk. Poland And Germany have been caused hardships as the Russian supply chain was cut off, causing the search for alternatives to the dependency on Russian gas.

China and the United States have sat across from each other in a conference with the resentment and tension of two vicious dogs at the start of a dog fight. China also ruffles its feathers towards Taiwan, causing an increase in missile readiness to maintain regional stability. With all this Hostility, the middle east remains in its multi-century unrest. The world is on edge and increasing its defenses as all eyes are on war tensions everywhere.

Children should be able to look to the sky to catch a baseball, not which way to run from a missile attack. They should have warm beds and decorations in their bedrooms, not broken windows and gas masks to protect them from dirty warfare. Kids should have visions of sugar plums and candy, not adult tantrums and war running through their heads. The World is on the verge, and the end may be near. No one knows what is coming next, but I do know that kids deserve to be kids in all countries everywhere.
